Description:
Headdresses of these Highlanders are painted in the same colors of tan and white outlined in black, but are shaped and designed individually. Some are rectangular; others are rounded. Each has a base harness—like structure built from bamboo or strips of wood that is covered with hammered bark cloth that is painted. Some headdresses are further decorated with bird feathers. Waistbands are made up of many strands of Job's tears seeds. Short aprons of dried grasses are adorned with leaves and grasses.
