Description:
Women of this Highlanders group rest before performing. Their faces are covered with bluish paint and white markings extending from the nose to the upper cheeks. Some cover their breasts with marsupial fur. Others wear leis of plants, small seeds and beads. Their headdresses comprise various feathers from parrots and birds of paradise, along with cuscus headbands that hold the feathers in place.
