Description:
Heads of these Highlanders are fully covered with mosses. Cone headpieces are made from sticks or cane and covered with mosses. Masks have enlarged painted eyes surrounded by boars' tusks. Each dancer carries a bow and arrows, symbolizing battle stance. Short hammered bark aprons are minimally decorated with leaves. Leaves hang just below the knees and above the ankles. Half of each body is painted green and the other half is brown.
