Have you ever wanted to experience the museum at night after the lights dim and the doors close?
The museum’s (Over)Night at the Museum (ONATM) events have been a popular attraction for families and scout groups since they began in 2008. While using flashlights as their guides, ONATM guests help the museum’s security guards complete science activities to gather clues and solve a museum mystery.
Once the mystery is solved, guests can enjoy a dance party, crafts or a movie before they fall asleep surrounded by ancient fossils, real mummies and dinosaurs!
There will be two ONATM events during the run of the museum’s new traveling exhibit, CSI: The Experience. ONATM guests may visit the exhibit; however, the exhibit is geared for ages 12+. Younger guests may visit the exhibit at their parent or caregiver’s discretion. Learn more about the exhibit by clicking here.
Guests are encouraged to bring inflatable mattresses and other necessities for a comfortable night’s stay.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the relocation of our dinosaur skeletons for the installation of our Health Sciences Studio, we can no longer place guests in our Dinosaurs & Co. exhibit hall.
