GROUP VISITS AND RATES
Groups are welcome Tuesday through Sunday. In order to obtain group rates, reservations must be made.

Rates for SELF GUIDED Group Admission (available to groups of 10 or more)
$5.75 Adult or Parent Chaperone
$4.00 per child or Senior
$2.00 per person for special needs groups Teachers and Professional Aides are free.
Chaperones: one adult is required for every 10 children for all groups.
Guided Group Tours and Workshops are available for an additional cost Tuesday through Thursday. Fridays are designated for self-guided visit. Please call (716) 896-5200, ext. 338 for reservations.
Guided tours are not available in the summer.
DIRECTIONS TO MUSEUM
The Museum is located at 1020 Humboldt Parkway at the Best Street Exit from the Kensington Expressway (Route #33). As you exit the Kensington at Best Street, signage ("Science Museum") will direct you. Ample parking is always free in the lot adjacent to the Museum.
From Canada: Take the Peace Bridge and turn left on Porter Ave. Follow Porter to Richmond Ave. Turn left to Summer St. Turn right. Cross Main St. and Summer St. becomes Best St. Continue on Best St., go over the expressway (Route #33) and turn left at light (Humboldt Parkway) into the Museum's parking lot.

TIFFT NATURE PRESERVE
Tifft Nature Preserve is our 264-acre site for environmental education and conservation. Just 3 miles from downtown Buffalo, The Preserve features five miles of hiking trails, and a 75-acre freshwater cattail marsh.
Hours: Makowski Visitor Center will be open Wednesday-Sunday 10AM- 4PM and for special programming and groups, on a pre-booked basis.
Admission: Donations gratefully accepted
Group Visits & Rates
Guided Group Tours are available Pre-K through high school. Tours 1.5 hours are offered Tuesday through Saturday 10:00-11:30am, $5.00 per person.
Directions to Tifft Nature Preserve
From the Southtowns area, take Route 5 east. Pass Tifft Street and bear to the right, following the Ohio Street exit to Tifft Nature Preserve.
From downtown and northern sections of the city, follow route 5 (Skyway) west. Take the Tifft Street exit and turn left at the first underpass (Tifft Street). The road goes under the elevated portion of Route 5 comes to an intersection. Turn left at this intersection, Ohio Street, which leads up to the Tifft Nature Preserve entrance and parking lot 1/4 mile on the right.
