Air Pressure’s Effect on Weather
Be amazed by the amazing power of air pressure! See how low and high pressure weather systems result in clear or stormy weather. Learn how different weather systems can affect your everyday life through the use of simple household products including a bottle, isopropyl alcohol and a modified bicycle pump.
Basic Electroplating on a Nano Scale
Nano, the science of really small things, is challenging to observe. Witness the wonder of nanotechnology as we coat nickels with copper using electricity and a Nano solution.
Some foxes have red fur and some have white – but why? Compare and contrast pelts and furs of various animals from around the world. Examine how animals have adapted overtime to their habitats to match their surroundings or to stand out and learn the reasons why. Feel, observe and compare the pelts of arctic and red foxes, grey and artic wolves, and black and polar bears.
