Programs at The Park School

We’re happy to announce a partnership with The Park School enabling us to extend our science programming outside the Museum walls and enrich young minds with hands-on science.
Thanks to the generosity of the Park School, all of the programs will take place on the Park School campus in Amherst, New York and provide children with opportunities to learn, to grow, and to explore the worlds around us.
Below is a list of the upcoming programs offered at The Park School. We hope you can join us!
Solar Science Wednesdays
Dates: 10/13, 10/20, 10/27, 11/3, 11/10, 11/17, 3:30-4:30 pm
Delve into the science of the sun and explore how the Park School’s new solar panels will help power the campus!
Grades: 3-6
Cost: $100/child includes all 6 sessions (Members receive a 10% discount)

Probing Park
Veterans Day 11/11/10 9:30-3:30
Discover the wonders that are in our soil and water. Younger students will explore
soil and water through inquiry driven questions and older students will design experiments
utilizing computerized collection devises.
Grades: K-8 (students will be split up amongst age groups)
Bring: A lunch
Cost: $45/Buffalo Museum of Science member, $55/non-member
