Druceiella
Druceiella Viette, 1949
Distribution: Costa Rica, Panama, South America to southern Brazil and northern Argentina.
Habitat: Forest.
Biology: Larval stages unknown, probably callus feeding wood borers
Systematics: Currently under revision. Possibly four new species. Males of the genus are have a unique posterior right extension of the terminal abdominal tergite . Many male and female specimens have 2-3 black or dark brown spots on the central forewing. The genus is being revised by John Grehan (Buffalo Museum of Science) and John Rawlins (Carnegie Museum of Natural History). In addition to the four published species are an additional three species that will be incorporated into the generic revision.
