Mini-Beasts Discovery Camp

They crawl!  They swim! They are smaller than your arm! There are so many “mini-beasts” that call Tifft home. Exploring the diverse habitats of Tifft will provide a chance to meet some of these amazing animals.

 
Ages: 5-8
Dates/Time: July 6-8
9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Fee: Members: $90 per child
Non-Members: $100 per child
Extended Care: 3:45 – 5:00 PM at $2.50 per 15 minutes, per day
Arrangements must be made at the time of pre-registration
More Info: Campers are asked to bring lunch in a reusable container

Creatures of the Sky Discovery Camp

Birds, bats and butterflies, take flight! Discovering the amazing gifts Tifft’s winged residents possess will make you soar.

 
Ages: 7-12
Dates/Time: July 19-23
9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Fee: Members: $171 per child
Non-Members: $190 per child
Extended Care: 3:45 – 5:00 PM at $2.50 per 15 minutes, per day
Arrangements must be made at the time of pre-registration

Aquatic Adventures Discovery Camp

H20-where would life be without it? Dive into the world of the wet and see how Tifft’s aquatic animals really make a splash!

 
Ages: 7-12
Dates/Time: August 2-6
9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Fee: Members: $171 per child
Non-Members: $190 per child
Extended Care: 3:45 – 5:00 PM at $2.50 per 15 minutes, per day

Triple Trek Day Camp
 

Trek to three exciting natural sites in the Lake Erie neighborhood: Penn Dixie Paleontological & Outdoor Education Center, Woodlawn Beach State Park and Tifft Nature Preserve for an exciting week of summer nature exploration and discovery of wildlife then and now. Learn about fish and try to catch your own.  Explore a cattail marsh, sand dunes, and an ancient sea floor.  Look for birds, other animals and fossils too!  Fun, fun, fun!

 
Ages: 8-12
Dates/Time: July 15-16, July 29-30, and August 12-13
 9:00 AM – 3 PM Daily, extended care available
  • Mondays and Tuesdays at Penn Dixie Paleontological & Outdoor Education Center
  • Wednesdays at Woodlawn Beach State Park
  • Thursdays and Fridays at Tifft Nature Preserve
Fee: $180 per week, $15 extended care
Extended Care: 3:45 – 5:00 PM at $2.50 per 15 minutes, per day
Arrangements must be made at the time of pre-registration

Forest Regeneration Summer Science Institute

Learn about the dynamics of tree growth and survival and how animals, such as deer, impact the forest at Tifft.

 
Ages: 12-15
Dates/Time: August 24-27
9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Fee: Members: $171 per child
Non-Members: $190 per child
Extended Care: 3:45 – 5:00 PM at $2.50 per 15 minutes, per day
