Directions

Tifft Nature Preserve is located at:

1200 Fuhrmann Boulevard
Buffalo, New York 14203
716.825.6397

From the Southtowns area, take Route 5 east. Exit at Tifft Street and turn left towards the lake, then turn right on Fuhrmann Blvd. heading north to the Tifft entrance.  Turn right and continue through the underpass to the parking lot.

From downtown and northern sections of the city, take the first exit after the skyway and continue south to the Tifft entrance.  Turn left and continue through the underpass to the parking lot.  Alternatively, from the north, take the Tifft Street exit off Route 5 and immediately make a U-turn heading north on Fuhrmann Blvd. to the Tifft entrance.   Turn right and continue through the underpass to the parking lot.

Alternative to above:  Follow Ohio Street until it leads into Fuhrmann Boulevard.  At the traffic light turn left onto Route 5 west and continue to the Tiftt Entrance.  Turn left and continue through the underpass to the parking lot.

Note For All Routes: The Nature Preserve entrance is only accessible through the underpass from Fuhrmann Blvd. which is now two-way traffic on the west side of Route 5.

PARKING:  Program participants and buses are authorized to park near the Visitor Center down the entrance driveway.
