Zebra Mussels

The popular Zebra Mussel: Freshwater Invader exhibit shows a hub cap and grill from a mussel covered car removed from Buffalo Harbor in June 1991. The exhibit includes information on the organism's life cycle, environmental effects, and distribution as well as a display of mussels showing the color patterns of various ages.
