Cosmic Adventures blasts off with a full day of hands‑on science, live shows, and out‑of‑this‑world discoveries. From the birth of stars to the force behind rocket launches, you’ll explore the universe like never before. Meet real experts, including Moog engineers, the Challenger Center of O.N.E. team, and BMS researchers, all ready to answer your biggest space questions.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., dive into space exploration with:
- Casual conversations about the cosmos, telescope demos, and a hands‑on activity with the Buffalo Astronomical Association
- A “Game of Space” with engineers from Moog where you can design your own rocket and launch it to space
- A Mars‑themed mission with the Challenger Center of O.N.E.: drive a robot on Mars, repair a rover, explore the stars, and create your own mission artwork
- A deep dive into solar cycles with BMS Research Associate Tim Collins
And, enjoy hands‑on demos, activities, and solar viewing:
