Partial Solar Eclipse Viewing
October 14 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
On Saturday, October 14, the moon will gradually make its way to cover 20 percent of the sun between 12 and 2 p.m., resulting in a partial solar eclipse!
Join us for free museum admission from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and learn how to safely enjoy this astronomical event. Grab a pair of free eclipse glasses and head outside with Museum facilitators (weather permitting) to learn how to view eclipses safely.
Hang on to your glasses and keep them in a safe place, because you’ll want them for the Total Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024!
Free museum admission all day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
