Science Theme Days offer hands-on, inquiry-based activities centered on particular themes. Students will encounter new concepts, make connections, and gain a better understanding of the world around them. Take a self-guided visit through themed activities.

The Buffalo Museum of Science's special Science Theme Day programs are one of our most popular offerings for school groups. Since they are only offered on select days each year, we encourage you to make your reservation as early as possible as they do fill up quickly.
If you can't make a theme day date, we encourage you to speak to our group sales representative on how to provide equally entertaining and educational experiences to your group through our workshops and outreach programs.

DINOSAURS & COMPANY

Jump back to the Jurassic and explore a time when it was eat or be eaten, from where Dinosaurs roamed and what foods they thrived on to what ultimately caused their demise. Suggested grades K - 2

Learn all about your favorite little critters that we call “bugs.” What are they really? Live animals, a craft and hands-on activities are all part of the fun! Suggested grades Pre-K-5
HEALTHY BODIES
May 18, 2018
Students will learn and understand the interconnectedness of the body systems and explore how nutrition and exercise impact the quality and efficiency of those systems. Suggested grades, 4-8

Join us for a day of outrageous bubbly fun! Experiment with bubble walls, bubble windows, bubble technology and giant bubbles that will astound you as they surround you! Suggested grades, PreK-5
