People of the world are more alike than you think

Artifacts features a selection of incredible pieces from the Buffalo Museum of Science’s anthropology collections and explores the similarities across cultures as evidenced by the objects we create.

Using touch screen technology, get an interactive lesson on the beautiful, and sometimes bizarre collections on display – where they came from, when and how they were used, and even the materials used to create them. Artifacts makes it easy and fun for guests to experience these cultural comparisons.

Support for Artifacts comes from The M&T Bank Family of Gifts, Charles Rand Penney, Richard and Karen Penfold, Robert Sadler, Lucille Hamlin, The Little-Kittinger Foundation, Buffalo Society of Natural Sciences’ Board of Managers, The Mulroy Family Foundation, Seymour H. Knox Foundation, The Robert and Patricia Colby Foundation, The Edward H. Butler Foundation, The Carlos and Elizabeth Heath Foundation and ComDoc.
