The Buffalo Museum of Science is partnering with Big Ditch Brewing on a limited edition WNY ECLIPSE Black IPA beer to help spread awareness and safety information about the upcoming April 8 total solar eclipse that will pass over Western New York. Join us for the launch party of this epic brew at Science After Hours: Eclipse!
At Science After Hours: Eclipse, you’ll be able to be among the first to sample the beer before it’s available in stores. After your sample, get eclipse-ready with activities including:
- Photo booth with our inflatable Sun
- Eclipse pop-up card making
- Pin the Moon on the Sun with the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library System
- Eclipse safety information with the Buffalo Eclipse Consortium
- Raffles and giveaways with AKG Art Museum
- Free eclipse glasses

All four floors of the Museum will be open during the event for everyone to explore during this fun, adults-only evening.
Ages 21+, cash bar available in addition to free samples from Big Ditch Brewing, photo ID required.
