Science After Hours: The Birds & the Bees

It wouldn’t be Living Earth Month at the museum without an adult night to chat about the Birds and the Bees!

Get ready for a night of drinks and this tantalizing topic at Science After Hours: The Birds & the Bees! This 21 and over event takes a deep dive into the fascinating—and sometimes downright bizarre—world of mating, reproduction, and biodiversity. Discover zany mating rituals, explore intoxicating pheromones of the bug world, talk with community partners about their “sexy” fields of work, and more!

Add our handsy—err, we mean hands-on—Deflowering Dissection workshop to your night for $10 a person and take a meticulous look at both male and female parts of your own flower specimen.

Whether you’re single, coupled, or just wildly curious, come enjoy a provocative evening of hands-on activities, intriguing discussions, and access to all four floors of museum exhibits — it might just change some of the ways you see the natural world.

Join us for a truly eye-opening experience—where science gets steamy, and learning gets a little wild! Reserve your spot now!

Tickets: $29 general admission; $39 with Deflowering Dissection activity (limited spots available!)
