The Invisible Visible: Photography by Andrew Davidhazy
The Invisible Visible; Imaging for Science, Engineering, and Education Photography of Andrew Davidhazy
“Photographing events that are invisible to the human eye for one reason or another has been something that has fascinated me over the years. Solving the technical problems connected with visualizing these events, while not neglecting the aesthetics of the final product, makes for an even more challenging and personally rewarding situation.”
Andrew Davidhazy is a photographer from Rochester, NY who has spent many decades taking photos, innovating photographic techniques, and educating other photographers.
On display in this limited-time exhibit are a small sample of images that Davidhazy has captured with his camera. Each one illustrates a different method or technique. In order to capture these unique images, Davidhazy often had to engineer and modify his camera equipment — some of which are on display — to get the perfect shot all without the modern conveniences of digital cameras and photo-manipulation software.
