Virtual Science Fair

The Buffalo Museum of Science and Darling Environmental Education Center at Tifft Nature Preserve may be temporarily closed, but our team has created new ways for your family to connect and engage with the Museum and Tifft.
While many in our community are facing an unknown number of hours at home, this presents an opportunity to spend quality time with our loved ones – time that can be used to explore, inquire and question together.
Introducing our Virtual Science Fair! Throughout the week, we’ll post fun, engaging, STEAM-based activities and experiments for your aspiring #sciencebuff to complete. We’ve approached each activity in a way that most of our followers will be able to safely investigate a variety of topics at home using common household items.
For every day you share a photo or video of your project in the comments of our Museum and Tifft Facebook posts, and/or document child(ren)’s “ah-ha!” moments, we will add an entry for you to win family four packs of general admission passes to the Museum and possibly our grand prize, a VIP Birthday Party at the Museum of Tifft after we reopen!
