Collections Live: Cataloging – A Work in Progress

Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at a museum? Museums take care of ‘collections’ – but what does that mean? Collections LIVE is a new initiative to turn the museum ‘inside-out’! Previously backstage activities will be taking place in public spaces – check out what goes into cataloging a collection, meet some of the staff and volunteers who’ve chosen this work as a career, bring your questions and we’ll work together to find the answers.

Collections Live: Cataloging – A Work In Progress is every Wednesday from 10am to 12:30pm on the Museum’s second floor. Learn about the cataloging process as a member of our team
processes a recent donation to our collection.

No pre-registration required, activity is ongoing.

Cost: Included with Museum admission, and free for members.
