Conversations in Science: Disaster Planning

Problem solving is essential in both science and engineering. Like the scientific process, the engineering process begins with existing knowledge and a problem to solve or a question to answer. Where science might ask “what” of discovery, engineering seeks the “how to” of a solution. Join us on Zoom for a virtual talk with Dr. Steve MacMartin of Medaille College on planning for the continuity of operations during widespread catastrophic events. This hour-long program will focus on approaches for individuals and small business owners, and includes a period for audience-driven Q&A. To submit questions in advance, please email [email protected].

Cost: Free! Register in advance for Zoom link.
